Welcome to all teachers!
|
Dancing for the Gods can be used in the classroom for a variety of fun
and engaging activities. All you need is a laptop with an LCD projector or
(even better) an interactive whiteboard. If you have a high-speed connection
in the classroom, you can access Dancing for the Gods over the Internet. Alternatively, you can order offline copy on DVD-ROM.
To help you, we have created lesson plans for you as a guideline for using the course with your students – You can download these plans (free of charge) from this page. Once you’ve registered on the site, you can go to our Community forum to get in touch with the larger dance community to share / discuss / debate ideas and information. We hope to help build a larger and stronger world dance community with our initiative.
If you want to contact us for any reason (clarifications / help / suggestions) please don’t hesitate to get in touch at mail@dancingforthegods.org. |

The activities and exercises contained in the plans have been developed
according to the guidelines laid out in the Blueprint for Teaching &
Learning in the Arts published by the New York City Department of
Education. (Click here to download a copy of the Blueprint.)
For each age group, activities are divided into four ‘activity areas’.
